This is the language spoken in the audio, not the summary language. Picking the dominant language transcribes far more accurately than auto-detect — only use Auto for recordings that truly mix multiple languages every few sentences. You'll choose the summary language on the next page.

Max 500 MB / 4 hours. Audio is transcribed on a self-hosted Whisper instance. At ~3.3× slower than realtime on the current server, a 1-hour recording finishes in about 3-4 hours. Be patient — there's no cloud API behind this.
